While anyone who owns it can trade the item, players rarely consider trading it and choose to use it for themselves, or just keep it in their collections.
How much is an AWP Dragon Lore Worth?
As we already mentioned above, the AWP Dragon Lore skin is one of the rarest skins in CS: GO so don't expect it to come cheap, and while all of the regular things that affect the price of all CS: GO skins such as wear, quality, etc. when it comes to the AWP Dragon Lore, we need to take a closer look at the biggest factors that affect the price which is the rarity and the supply of it. Whether the wear of the skin is factory new, battle-scarred, minimal wear, or well worn, the price of the Dragon Lore AWP skin is not going to be cheap so if you are looking to get your hands on one of them, you should be ready to pay the premium which averages out around $4600.
AWP Dragon Lore Price for 2020

The price of the Well-Worn war quality AWP Dragon Lore seemed to be all over the place when we were researching this, and while we were able to find skins of this quality available for around $1100, the more accurate price for it would be significantly higher at around $1500. Similar results have been observed with the Field-Tested float of the AWP Dragon Lore skin with its value ranging from $1500 to the overwhelming $8000 for various Souvenir models, but more on that later.
If you thought that we were dealing with some ridiculously high numbers already, then you haven't seen anything yet, as the Minimal Wear AWP Dragon Lore skin usually sells anywhere between $3500 and $10000, with occasional ones going for a lot cheaper on third party website such as SkinCashier, but those are rare exceptions and usually get snatched very quickly.
Finally, we arrive at the highest wear quality of the AWP Dragon Lore skin which is factory new, and as of right now, the price of it ranges from around $3200 to an astounding $17600, however, the factory new version of the Dragon Lore is still not the most expensive version of the AWP Dragon Lore. Believe it or not, the AWP Dragon Lore is not expensive due to its covert rarity or its wear float, but purely because it is so rare and difficult to obtain. As mentioned, the skin is only available in a single weapon case and is a part of the Cobblestone Collection which means that the only way of obtaining it is by watching the tournament that takes place on the Cobblestone map. The drop rate for those who watched Cobblestone matches was calculated to be somewhere between one and two percent which is extremely low, and we are only talking about the weapon case here, and not the AWP Dragon Lore skin itself.
Even if you are lucky enough to get your hands on the Cobblestone Collection weapon case, if you wish to obtain the item itself, you are looking at an even lower drop rate for the AWP Dragon Lore skin which is around 0,0004%. This means that getting one of these items through regular means is at an all-time low, however, there are other options that you may consider if you want to get one of the AWP Dragon Lore skins.
How to Get an AWP Dragon Lore?
Getting this skin through normal means will likely not work so don't spend your money on keys as keys will not unlock the door to the AWP Dragon Lore. The best chance of gaining access to the Ait is through trading either on the official Steam market created by Valve or through any other third party market such as the SkinCashier. We have already mentioned that players are rarely willing to trade Dragon Lore away and would rather use it which is all right, but every now and again, there are offers that pop up, and while those offers are rare, if you search long enough and try your best, you might be able to buy one and add it to your inventory. Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore
The souvenir version of the Cobblestone Collection skin that has been custom painted with a knotwork dragon is the most expensive version of the AWP Dragon Lore skin and it differs from its covert version due to the unique stickers that can connect it to a specific professional player of the game. As such the price of the Souvenir AWP Dragon Lore skin could sell for significantly more. With the right stickers on it, this item could be worth tens of thousands of dollars.
Back in January 2018, during the Boston Major, a souvenir version of the AWP Dragon Lore skin with an unscratched sticker of the popular CSGO player known as Skadoodle sold for an amazing $61000 which made the Boston Major souvenir AWP Dragon Lore skin one of the first to sell for that much and as such, one of the most expensive skins ever added to the game.
