RustySaloon has been rebranded as Splits.gg

What happened to RustySaloon?

It was rebranded. Opening rustysaloon.com on 3 September 2026 produces a redirect to splits.gg, and the operator's own Steam group — which still carries the name "Rusty Saloon" — announced on 16 January 2025 that "Rustysaloon has rebranded to splits.gg".

The redirect is older than the announcement. An archived capture of rustysaloon.com from 1 September 2024 already returns "301 Moved Permanently" to the same address.

Why did we remove the bonus code and the link?

Because the link no longer went where this page says it goes. The affiliate link attached to this review resolves to a generic betting promotion on a third-party offer domain — not to Splits.gg, and not to anything connected with the site described below.

Sending you to an unrelated operator from a review of a different product is exactly the practice we criticise elsewhere, so the link and the code are gone. We would rather this page carry no offer at all than one that quietly swaps the destination.

Is Splits.gg the same site?

The operator says it is the same project under a new name. We cannot confirm anything beyond that, because we have not run our own deposit-and-cash-out test on Splits.gg, and a rebrand is not a reason to carry an old score forward. The 1 out of 5 recorded here belongs to RustySaloon as it was, not to the site running today.

What was RustySaloon?

RustySaloon was a site built around Rust items, which could be played across the games it offered. It launched with an unusually large number of game modes for a new project and accepted deposits through several payment methods.

What we recorded about it at the time

At the time of the review we found no negative reports about the brand, the administrators were active on Discord and on Twitter, and the site published a Provably Fair verifier that let a player re-check an individual round after it had been played. That was our reading then; it is not a claim about the site as it operates today.
